Job Title: Sr. Java developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: Long term C-T-H
Travel: Required Up to 75% (100% expenses paid)
This work may take place on-site at client sites or remotely from our offices.
Good knowledge of either the retail industry or work experience in ecommerce related projects like shopping carts, payment gateways, tax gateways, shipping etc .
Qualified candidates will have experience/knowledge in:
- Java/JEE and OO development
- Working from and creating UML specifications
- System maintenance and monitoring processes
- Change management and code deployment methodology
- Systems integration
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Assessing the progress of development
- Providing code reviews
- Providing product training
- Have strong written and oral communication skills
- Project scoping and estimation
- Multi-Channel Commerce (including eCommerce)
Required Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 4+ years experience in: Object Oriented Development
- Strong experience in: Java Development and SQL
- Must be extremely detail oriented.
- Spring/Hibernate, AJAX experience also preferred
