Job Title: QA analyst
Location: Downers Grove, IL
Duration: 6 months

The Test Analyst is primarily responsible for the analysis, design, planning, execution and maintenance of automated and manual testing, reporting of test results and defect management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes test cases / Scripts and analyzes outcomes.
- Performs testing and documenting the actual results.
- Performs all aspects of defect tracking.
- Creates test data if required.
- Develop test scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results for one or more test plans, including product, component, assembly, performance, and user acceptance tests.
- Develop and maintain testing standards and procedures.
- Execute test scripts.
- Validate fixes and ensures follow through to all test cycles.
- Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process.
- Reporting bugs for analysis.
- Documenting the actual results and metrics.
- Analyzes defects to determine root cause.
- Communicating execution status to the Test Manager.
- Organizes testing execution and results.
- Maintains information in appropriate testing tools.
Required Skills:
- Unix, PL/SQL and Oracle
- Knowledge of databases
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
