Job Title: Sr. SharePoint (MOSS) Developer
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 3 – 6 months
Rate: Up to $100/hr c2c
Locals & G.C (or) US Citizen (or) EAD only ;
Job Responsibilities:
· Ideal candidate will be responsible for developing MOSS 2007 based business solutions/automation/enhancement for an existing Spreadsheet Controls Application that was built on MOSS 2007.
· Responsibilities include business/system analysis, design, programming, and support.
· Will analyze functional requirements then design, develop, test, and implement program modifications to the existing application, design and programming of custom web parts.
· Will create custom workflows, if required for process automation using MOSS 2007 including alerts / notifications, and error reporting.
· Will interface with functional and technical resources to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Skills Required:
· 8-10 years minimum experience developing enterprise applications and web technology solutions around SharePoint.
· A SharePoint developer(Minimum 8 years of exp) with C# programming skills.
· Experience with development of custom search pages.
· Understanding of ECM and records center customization, content types, web part programming, site definitions, custom stsadm commands, SVN, Team Foundation Server (TFS).
Experience Required:
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with end-users to understand requirements and develop comprehensive and complete solutions that incorporate both technology and business processes.
· Experience working in an enterprise-level environment
· Experience with and/or good understanding of Agile/iterative development methods and tools including test-driven development and continuous integration.
· Ability to work on a team as well as independently with minimal supervision to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
· Proven experience in technical lead roles for SharePoint or other application development efforts is a plus.
