Job Title: Capital Markets Business Analyst
Location: VA
Duration: 6 months with potential up to 2 years
Rate: $70/hr c2c
G.C (or) US Citizen (or) EAD only
Client is looking for Capital Markets Business Analysts with expertise in Portfolio with Management and Risk Management Analytics for Fixed Income securities portfolios such as RMBS and CMBS as well as funding and hedging vehicles (e.g. i-rate derivatives).
Skills & Experience:
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required and CFA or equivalent skills will be leveraged heavily.
· Strong knowledge of various asset classes is required.
· Portfolio surveillance and portfolio management analytics is required.
· Examples include sensitivity analysis, break analysis, OAS analysis, duration and convexity analysis and yield analysis.
· Project experience related to system development life cycle is important.
· Knowledge of Capital Markets data, understanding of relational databases and data manipulation skills (i.e. SQL) are all a significant plus.
**Capital Markets experience is must
**FNMA or Freddie Mac experience a plus
