Job Title: Sr. Java Developer
Location: NYC
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: $70/hr c2c
Need G.C (or) Citizen (or) EAD only
Skills & Experience:
- Must have overall 10 years of IT experience.
- Must have strong core Java skills.
- Must have 5 + years of design and development experience focused on core Java server oriented components.
- Must have skills with enhancing performance of applications using such concepts and methods.
- J2EE components are used by this firm; however, they are heavily customized using core Java.
- Degree in computer science is required.
- Firm does embrace Agile Development Methodology.
Must have:
- Memory Models
- Data Structures
- Cache (They store up to half a terabyte using cache)
- Algorithms/ and associated performance enhancements
- Multi-threaded components
Nice to have:
- Databases and strong SQL
- UNIX and Shell/ Perl
- Financial is always a strong plus!
