Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: Open

Need local or nearby to WI candidates only.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of Oracle data base management experience (version 10 and 11) including experience with OEM, RAC and Data Guard. ** AIX knowledge a plus.
• Demonstrated competence, experience, knowledge, and understanding of database management; including:

•  
  1. Application support and SQL tuning
  2. Database/environment monitoring and tuning
  3. Database backups and recoveries
  4. Oracle software and patch installation

• Display initiative, self-motivation, good judgment, common sense, a positive and cooperative attitude, and the ability to act decisively and promptly
• Some off hours work will be expected, but appropriate remote access will be provided.
