Job Title: Build / Release Engineer
Location: NYC
Duration: Full-Time
Base Pay: 100-130k + bonus (DOE)
Summary:
•Candidate will be involved in the definition, management and implementation of product build and releases. Will be work closely with groups like development, QA, support and infrastructure team. Should have experience in large scale, cross language, cross operating system software build automation and installation.
Responsibilities:
•Implement and maintain highly automated build and install process
•Lead the application teams in adopting the best practice of source code management and traceability.
•Management of application deployment for complex projects including systems integration
•Assist with supporting source code management tools and automation builds by Maven.
•Ensure proper management of product release life cycle. Develop deployment plans and schedules for Change Review meeting - Look for opportunities to further improve the existing model
Source Control Management –
•Subversion is must
•Other source control tools like cvs or perforce
Build/Process management –
•Maven2 is required
•Continuous Integration Tool like Hudson, Cruise Control or Continuum
•Apache Ant
•Maven repository management
