Level: Web Developer 6 (7 to 10 years exp.)
Skills:
- Rich Internet Application Development background
- Advanced Javascript skills (able to create Custom Objects)
- Experience with "Mashup" servers (they use a product from a company called "JackBe", ideal if they have direct experience with this product)
- Experience with code repositories/products (Clearcase, CVS)
- Solid understanding of SDLC
- Want someone with initiative and able to run with Proof of Concepts themselves

Title/Role: Windows System Administrator
Location: Richmond, VA(Only Locals Please)
Duration: 3+ months
Rate: $33/hr
Short Description:
Responsibilities:
• Working knowledge of networking and programming issues sufficient to administer hardware, OS environments and software environments for designated enterprise systems. Team size: 3 (total)
• Proactively monitor Windows servers and systems (approx 40 svrs currently, anticipating adding 12 new Windows boxes and 4 others)
• Responsible for upgrading and patching operating system
• Ability to follow technical and procedural standards
• Manage server security in accordance with UMW Security Policies
• Responsible for performance tuning, capacity planning, database administration, and fault management
• Coordinate efforts with other team members and vendors, as appropriate
• Identity, track, review and prioritize issues and service requests
• Excellent communication and vendor-relations skills
• Act as front-line interface to Windows system users
• Ability to make significant contributions to technical documentation sufficient for detailed audit scrutiny
Required Qualifications:
• At least three years of direct Windows server operating systems administration experience
• Experience in the administration of servers in a mission critical production environment
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2007
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
• Experience with Microsoft Identity Lifecyle Manager (ILM)
• Experience with MOSS (SharePoint Server) 2007
• Experience with Windows Server 2008
• Experience with Windows Group Policy
• Experience with Windows Scripting and automation of tasks
